Dr. Jody Dickey selected Professional Design & Construction (PDC) to provide single source planning, design and construction services for a new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital. Increasing patient growth demands at the existing 1,100 square foot practice resulted in the need for increasingly efficient internal staff operations. Design challenges included site expansion restrictions, creation of a building design consistent with the residential neighborhood, and respecting Gettysburg Battlefield Historic District requirements due to visual proximity. The 4,300 square foot hospital addition and renovation, completed in March 2014, includes four exam rooms, treatment rooms, radiology, surgery, pharmacy, and a second-floor administrative suite.
