Dr. Jeff Steed’s first veterinary practice was Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital, which he has since expanded into several satellite locations. One such location operated out of a converted house. While this was a common setup, it was limiting, with tight spaces and poor circulation for a veterinary setting. To improve functionality, Dr. Steed acquired a nearby former bank building and engaged us to design and build a new, purpose-driven facility. With experience converting banks into veterinary practices, we were able to creatively repurpose the space: the existing vault became the X-ray room, the drive-through served as a convenient pickup area for pet food and medications, and the rear of the building was transformed into essential in-patient support areas.
