A “Fear Free” design was essential to the project. This approach focuses on reducing owner and pet anxiety during stressful situations. Professional Design & Construction, LLC separated outpatient waiting areas from triage and emergency access points. We introduced natural lighting and warm colors to create a calming effect. Inpatient treatment areas were positioned for optimal visual observation. These spaces include certified Level 1 Intensive Critical Care and Intermediate Care Units. The facility also features dedicated clean and dirty surgical suites. A centrally located treatment island includes a doctor and nurse station. This layout enables staff to maintain steady observation of all patients. Finally, the second-floor mezzanine provides space for a conference room and staff support areas.
